A golf car played a role in popular reality series The Bachelor, albeit not in a particularly fun way for bachelor Peter Weber.
It was recently revealed that Weber was golfing in Costa Rica while waiting for the show’s female contestants to arrive. According to several reports, as he stepped into a golf car, he hit his head on both the car roof and the glass he was carrying. He was taken to a hospital two hours away where he required 22 stitches in his face.
Later on television, Weber made light of the situation.
It wasn’t even a cool story,” he said on Jimmy Kimmel Live. “It was a golf cart, and I banged my head as I was getting in. The golf cart wasn’t even moving, Hulk smashed a glass into my forehead, and just sliced it up.”
Weber was announced as the star of the current season of The Bachelor after appearing as a contestant on The Bachelorette. He works as a pilot for Delta Air Lines.
